GDPR is a new data protection law which comes into effect in May 2018. It protects individuals’ personal information and improves their control over how it is collected, stored, shared and used.
The website manager Webhealer, for Synergy Coaching and Counselling, fowards via my business email address,all enquires and then deletes them once it is received. In the same way both the Counselling-Directory and BACP’s It’s Good to Talk directory, also forward email enquires to my business email address.
The information I receive from Webhealer, the Counselling-Directory and It’s Good To Talk directory includes:
Email address
Message of Enquiry
Telephone Numer (if supplied)
This personal data is used for:
Purpose of communication, providing information and arranging initial consultation.
How long is the information kept:
All emails are deleted either when enquiry does not lead to an appointment, or work has finished.
I do not pass on your personal data to any third parties.
A detailed Privacy Consent Information Form is given to existing and potential clients which provides in detail all aspects of how personal data is stored, collected and used.
