I’ve been fortunate to follow multiple passions, each shaped by a deep curiosity about people’s lives and stories. Across the years, I’ve gathered a collection of skills and experiences that hold personal meaning and purpose.
In the United States, my work focused on literacy, education, and the arts—supporting Native American families on a North Dakota reservation and working with marginalised youth on the south side of Chicago.
Relocating to the UK gave me space to evolve, bringing my skills into new arenas: community arts festivals, professional touring theatre, and launching a successful food business.
My path into therapy grew from years of coaching individuals in prisons, as well as working with ex-offenders, refugees, people experiencing homelessness, and the long-term unemployed. I listened to stories marked by trauma, isolation, instability, and survival.
These experiences shaped my focus as a therapist—supporting clients dealing with the lasting impact of emotional, physical, and sexual abuse, trauma, anxiety, attachment wounds, and relational difficulties.
What’s remained constant is a thread woven through it all: a lifelong, insatiable interest in human experience—how people make sense of their lives, heal, and begin again.
